    Event brief:

Europe’s biggest and most ambitious electronic entertainment event, Campus Party
is a week long, 24-hour a day technology festival for thousands of “campuseros” –
hackers, developers, gamers and geeks. Equipped with computers and other hightech
devices, they camp on-site and immerse themselves in a truly unique
environment. Campus Party unites the brightest young minds in technology and
science under the idea that “the Internet is not a network of computers; it’s a
network of people.” Campus Party Europe features over 500 hours of talks, debates,
workshops, competitions and hackathons related to science, innovation, digital
entertainment and creativity; and hundreds of hours of ad-hoc events planned by
participants that continue throughout the night. For many ‘Campuseros’, the festival
will be a key part of their journey into the world of work.
